What we measure and how
Sampled high-resolution frames (~30 across the programme) are differenced pairwise to find pixels whose value is identical across all samples — a signature of dead or stuck sensor / encoder pixels. Reports the count of suspect pixel coordinates vs `dead_pixel_max_count` threshold.
