HDR transfer / primaries / mastering metadata

What we measure and how

Validates HDR signalling: transfer characteristic (HLG / PQ / BT.2020), colour primaries, and the presence of static or dynamic mastering metadata. For PQ content, MaxCLL / MaxFALL are checked against the spec's ceilings and dynamic-metadata format (HDR10+ / Dolby Vision) is verified where required. Static-only HDR10 fails the dynamic-required gate.
