Method
Audio clicks pops
Audio click / pop event count
What we measure and how
Click and pop detection finds sample-scale impulsive artefacts caused by digital errors, edits across mismatched material, or playout dropouts. Audio is downmixed to mono and resampled to 16 kHz, then scanned with a differential detector that flags any single-sample excursion exceeding both an absolute amplitude threshold and a local-context relative threshold (catching loud transients in otherwise quiet passages). Reports event count and timestamps.
